Positive predictive value of albumin: globulin ratio for feline infectious peritonitis in a mid-western referral hospital population

Serum biochemistry changes are non-specific in FIP but are usually more helpful than haematological changes;

hyperglobulinaemia, a low albumin to globulin (A:G) ratio, hyperbilirubinaemia and elevated acute phase proteins (APPs) are most useful.
